Welder / Fabricator – MIG & TIG (Mild Steel, Stainless, Aluminium)

Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 07:00-17:00 (Mon‑Thurs) — 4‑day working week

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with strong MIG and TIG skills across mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. You will be responsible for fabricating high‑quality components from engineering drawings, carrying out both welding and general fabrication duties to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Fabrication of components from engineering/technical drawings
  • Cutting, prepping, forming and assembling metalwork as required
  • Working with a range of thicknesses depending on job requirements
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy and finish
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
  • Supporting wider workshop tasks when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
  • Competent in MIG & TIG welding (mild steel, stainless, aluminium)
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good practical fabrication skills (marking out, cutting, assembly)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a close‑knit team
Hours & Benefits
  • 07:00 - 17:00, Monday‑Thursday (long weekend every week)
