Overview

Role: Welder

Start date: Immediate

Location: Outskirts of Bury St Edmunds (Own transport required)

Pay: 15ph (negotiable based on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00-17:00

Contract: Temp-Perm

Responsibilities

• Weld a mix of bespoke one-offs and bulk architectural metalwork.
• Be flexible about where you will be working within a small engineering firm.
• Be familiar with punching, pressing, bending, grinding, drilling, tapping, fettling.
• The welding will vary from thin gauge work to heavy duty, so you should have relevant experience.
• Previous experience operating machinery is not essential but would be advantageous.

• Own transport is required due to location and lack of local public transport.
• Live locally to Woolpit, Suffolk.

Additional information

Overtime is available at increased rates of pay. Standard hours are 08:00-17:00 on a 40-hour week, but we can be flexible with this.
