The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. You will work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality and safe welds.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding on a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and quality.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a welder or similar role.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent qualification (preferred).
  • Valid CSCS card or CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
