Job summary

A family-run manufacturing company in Sudbury is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Tackler to join the Engineering Team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with weaving machinery and be proficient in both preventive and reactive maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work at height. The position offers a full-time schedule with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with weaving machinery or as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong inquisitive nature with a methodical problem-solving approach.
• Physically fit and willing to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery that weaves luxury products.
• Provide preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Liaise with weavers regarding machine issues.
