Job summary

A boutique Wealth Management firm in Folkestone is looking for a Financial Planning Administrator to provide essential support to advisers and paraplanners. Responsibilities include managing pre-sale and post-sale administration, preparing for client meetings, and maintaining compliance standards. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a financial planning environment, possess GCSEs in English and Maths, and demonstrate strong analytical skills. This role offers a chance for future progression into a Paraplanner or Senior Administrator position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months to 2 years’ experience in a Financial Planning Advisers environment.
  • Understanding of the financial planning process.
  • Desire to progress to Paraplanner or Senior Administrator role in future.

Responsibilities

  • Complete presale administration and update the intelligent office database.
  • Prepare information for LOAs and policy checklists.
  • Conduct meeting preparation for adviser.
  • Write basic reports and conduct basic research.
  • Administer new business and review cases.
  • Maintain client files and assist paraplanner with investment strategies.
  • Support general administration duties in colleagues' absence.
