Job description

Our client is a well-established water treatment company and they are now looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic Water Treatment Sales Manager in the East Midlands region. Consideration will be given to applications from the Midlands, Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong commercial background within the water treatment industry.
  • Science qualification at degree level or equivalent advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
  • Good working knowledge of water treatment plants, processes and treatment methods.
  • Ability to plan and schedule workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing accounts whilst actively sourcing new clients/business.
  • Cross‑sell/promote the company’s services to a variety of clients.
  • Undertake any training as required to fulfill this role.
  • Support technical/sales team.
  • Attend site and review meetings with clients.
  • Complete sales reports to discuss at monthly meetings.
  • Provide quotations, proposals and any other relevant paperwork to clients within strict timescales.
  • Meet and where possible, exceed sales targets, quotations and KPI’s.
  • Maintain and, if applicable, improve the company’s performance.
  • Liaise with various departments as required.
  • Deal with clients in a professional manner.
  • Prioritise and plan work schedule in consultation with management.
  • Make recommendations/provide advice to clients.
  • Assess on‑site risks and ensure safe methods of work are practised at all times.
