Responsibilities

  • Cover various contracts including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Disinfect mains water systems, tank cleans, descales and remedial work.
  • Monitor air and water systems for compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Conduct routine sampling and analyze water systems.
  • Provide accurate reports and maintain paperwork.

  • Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers

Our client is a well-established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company, who due to recent contract wins are currently looking for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber to join their busy workforce based in and around the London area. Candidates will hold extensive and varied experience of water treatment and remedial works. Holding the NVQ Level 2 / 3 in plumbing would be beneficial to the role. Applications from Romford, Harrow, Bromley, Croydon and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
  • Experience working as a water hygiene engineer.
  • Plumbing experience would be advantageous.
  • Will ideally hold the level 2 / 3 plumbing qualification.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Role
  • Covering various contracts including residential, commercial and industrial properties.
  • Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales and remedial work.
  • Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Installation & maintenance of dosing systems.
  • Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
