Job Title: Water Treatment / Plumbing Engineer.
Location: Leicester, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits: £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits.

Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers.

We are working with a renowned and nationally recognised provider of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hardworking and competent Water Treatment / Plumbing Engineer. Covering Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, and Local Authority sites, you will carry out CWST cleans, chlorinations, & repairs, deadleg removals, and cooling tower cleans & disinfections. The role offers cross‑training into other environmental / compliance sectors, excellent holiday allowance and enrolment onto the company pension scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out CWST cleans, chlorinations, and repairs.
  • TMV servicing, installation, maintenance and replacement.
  • Failsafe testing.
  • Mains injections.
  • Routine flushing of little used outlets.
  • Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
  • Removing, rerouting, and adjusting copper/PVC pipework.
  • Legionella sampling & temperature monitoring.
  • Showerhead cleans and descales.
  • Carrying out inspection of hot water cylinders if G3 unvented ticket is held.
  • Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
Qualifications
  • Experience working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
  • Holding City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing (ideal).
  • Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant chemicals.
  • IT literate.
  • Holding the G3 unvented certificate is beneficial.
  • Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
