Our client is a leading a name within the water treatment industry, with an excellent reputation for providing professional water management services to a portfolio of clients across the UK. They are currently looking for a high calibre, tenacious and committed Water Treatment Commercial/Operations Manager based in Yorkshire. The successful applicant will demonstrate their excellent water treatment industry knowledge and have a proven track record of developing / managing national sales and bid teams, as well as, developing and implementing commercial strategies. Prerequisites
  • Hands‑on water treatment commercial management and sales experience.
  • Extensive experience of the water treatment / hygiene industry.
  • Good formal education and a strong background in technical, chemical, accounts, operational, business development, sales, contracts and management.
  • Excellent communication, client‑facing, presentation, organisational, leadership and people‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Well‑versed with the water treatment industry legislation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Working to develop the business further.
  • Developing commercial strategy nationwide.
  • Supporting the operational side of the business, suggesting and implementing any changes needed.
  • Ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • Managing site staff and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Health and Safety procedures.
  • Producing method statements, risk assessments and associated site paperwork.
  • Assisting with tenders and quotations.
  • Developing and training the team whilst also managing the office.
  • Managing existing and new portfolio of contracts.
  • Build and maintain a strong, professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
