Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to recent contract expansion, our client is seeking a hardworking and multi‑skilled Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer to cover a range of commercial, local authority and public sector sites. You will be joining a successful and reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who have a presence across the UK. Our client can be open minded with regards to experience level, however, applicants must have a proven work history within the industry. The successful candidate can expect attractive salaries and benefits packages, including: overtime opportunities, company vehicle and pension scheme.

Client sites are based in: Aylesbury, Tring, Stoke Mandeville, Chesham, High Wycombe, Luton, St Albans, Harpenden, Leighton Buzzard, Thame, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Slough, Harrow, Watford, Borehamwood, Reading, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Bicester, Oxford, Henley-on-Thames, Milton Keynes, Bletchley.

Experience / Qualifications

• Strong work history as a Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer
• Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• It would be beneficial to hold plumbing qualifications, but this is not essential
• Experience working across a varied portfolio of client sites
• Good client‑facing manner
• IT literate and good literacy and numeracy ability

The Role

• Attending client sites to complete a range of PPM Water Treatment / Hygiene duties
• TMV servicing and failsafes
• Cleans and disinfections on Cooling Towers
• Cooling tower pack changes
• Closed systems sampling
• Showerhead descales
• Calorifier blowdowns
• Some ad‑hoc remedial duties, such as: deadleg removals and pipework modifications
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
