Job description

Due to current business requirements, this well-established water treatment/water hygiene company is now looking to recruit a competent and experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Stockport area. Applications from Altrincham, Stretford, Ashton-under-Lyne and the surrounding areas will be considered. The nature of the contracts will mean extensive travel may sometimes be required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in a water treatment role within the water treatment industry.
• A good working knowledge of current guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Legionella risk assessing experience would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a sales/accounts role advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Steam boiler monitoring
• Cooling tower monitoring
• Closed system checks
• Account management would be beneficial.
• Assist with remedial works as and when required.
• Liaising with clients and travelling to various sites in the South East to the Midlands.
