Job description

• Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers

This well-established company within the water treatment industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber for a variety of contracts in and around the St Albans area. Undertaking daily tasks such as, Carrying out plumbing works, Monitoring the clients ait and water systems and carrying out temperature monitoring. Applications from Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield, Watford, Barnet and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold city & guilds or NVQ plumbing qualification(s).
Have a strong chemical/plumbing/water treatment background.
Previous experience working in a water treatment/plumbing role.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Maintenance & installation of dosing systems, etc.
Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
