  • Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers

Our client is an expanding and successful water treatment company, who provides a variety of environmental and water management services to long-standing clients nationwide. Due to recent contract wins, they are currently seeking a hard-working and multi-skilled Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Beckenham area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience delivering a wide range of water treatment duties to a varied site base, as well as, extensive experience preforming remedial plumbing works following legionella risk assessments. Consideration will be given to applications from Orpington, Bromley, Croydon, Mitcham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Must hold the City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 Plumbing qualification.
Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer within the water industry.
Hands on experience delivering remedial plumbing works to a varied site base.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry.

Role:

Servicing of hot and cold water systems and chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers, chlorination, etc.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Performing remedial plumbing works following on from legionella risk assessments.
Maintaining a good relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.
Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.
