Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician.
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £32k + Training + Benefits

A leading name within the Legionella control industry are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer. Covering various Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites, you will be carrying out various Water Hygiene duties e.g., water sampling, temperature monitoring, flushing of little used outlets and calorifier blowdowns.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Nottingham, Beeston, Derby, Beeston, Loughborough.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will be an experienced Engineer, working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Well versed in ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Will be always professional and approachable.
• Will be confident in using PDA.

The Role

• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• TMV Servicing.
• Showerhead descales.
• Tank inspections.
• Cleaning and disinfection of tanks.
• Flushing of little used outlets.
• Calorifier blowdowns.
• Descaling of hot water cylinders.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant ACoP L8 / HSG Guidelines.
• Providing reports using PDA systems.
