Job Title: Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a leading player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. The successful candidate will cover the North West / Yorkshire region, carrying out various water hygiene duties on a mixed portfolio of sites and maintaining the company's high standards. Consideration will be given to candidates from the following towns: Oldham, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Bury, Bolton, St Helens, Liverpool, Warrington, Wigan, Macclesfield, Blackburn, Preston, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding a plumbing related qualification e.g., City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 is essential.
• Experience working for a Water Hygiene company in a plumbing/engineering role.
• Fully conversant with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out water sampling and temperature checks.
• Cleaning and descales of showerheads.
• Failsafe and TMV servicing.
• Cleaning, chlorination, disinfection, and removal of CWST.
• Deadleg removals.
• Removal and routing of pipework (copper and PVC).
• Carrying out mains injections.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Updating onsite logbooks accurately.
