A reputable water treatment company in the Bournemouth area is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to maintain and service water systems. The ideal candidate must have a City & Guilds qualification and significant experience in the water hygiene industry. This role offers an attractive salary, company vehicle, and additional benefits. Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Bournemouth area, applications from Christchurch, Poole, Ringwood and surrounding areas will be considered.

Job Description

Our client is a well-established and growing water treatment company with a wealth of experience in the water treatment disciplines. Due to current expansion workload, they are looking for a competent, committed hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to work on various contracts in and around the Bournemouth area.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers.
  • Carry out temperature monitoring, routine sampling, analyze water systems and interpret results.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.
  • Servicing of TMVs.
  • Complete paperwork for works undertaken appropriately.
  • Maintain and build good working relationships with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds qualification.
  • Significant demonstrable experience within water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Fully conversant with current guidelines – ACOP L8.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible, have a good work ethic, and the ability to carry out the work effectively and within timely schedules. Must be flexible with regards to travelling as per client’s requirements.
