Qualifications

• Experience in water sampling, temperature monitoring, and cleaning of cooling towers.

• Hold a full manual driving license.

Responsibilities

• Perform water sampling and temperature monitoring in the field.
• Clean and disinfect cooling towers and other water systems.
• Conduct TMV servicing and tank cleans.
• Document maintenance activities and report issues.

The successful candidate will be ideally based in the Manchester area and will cover sites in the North West region.

Package

• Salary up to £28,000 (depending on experience), In addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn bonuses and overtime is readily available
• 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
• 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years’ continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days.
• 10 extra paid days leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to attend their annual training.

Main Duties

• Water Sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Descaling of shower head and hoses.
• TMV Servicing
• Tank Cleans and inspections
• Cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of the cooling towers
• Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers
• Mains injection pipework chlorination works

Requirements

• Confined space trained (advantageous)

• Good level of computer skills
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Hold a full manual driving licence
• Previous experience with carrying out cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance of the cooling towers
• Previous experience required
