Job summary

A growing engineering consultancy is seeking a CAD Technician to produce high-quality CAD drawings for water and wastewater projects across the Thames region. You will work closely with various engineers, supporting the design function and contributing to innovative infrastructure projects. Candidates should have strong AutoCAD skills and an interest in water sector design. The role offers collaborative multi-discipline experience and competitive salary £35,000 to £45,000.

Qualifications

• Background as a CAD Technician or CAD Engineer, ideally with exposure to water, wastewater, civil or MEICA related projects.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence managing multiple drawing packages.
• Genuine interest in water sector design and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality CAD drawings in 2D and 3D for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare general arrangements, sections, equipment layouts, P&IDs and installation details.
• Manage drawing updates and ensure revision control is maintained.
