Responsibilities

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Area Shift Manager and supervise the Warehouse Operative and warehouse operations to ensure that all material movements are on time and in full both in and out of the Warehouse.
  • Report hazard spots and near misses to support compliance with HSE responsibilities.
  • Ensure material handling equipment is charged and operational; report faults immediately. Load/unload vehicles promptly according to daily/weekly plans.
  • Book goods in accurately upon receipt, maintain records, and investigate/report discrepancies.
  • Perform daily aisle checks, monthly stock counts, and ensure all orders are picked accurately.
  • Adhere to food safety, GMP, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with technical team on audits, address corrective actions promptly, and drive improvement projects aligned with site KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Previous Warehouse supervisory experience
  • FLT Licences in Reach, Counterbalance & Flexi
  • Be able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Able to encourage good teamwork within shifts and the whole site
  • High attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • FMCG experience

+ Week 1: 3 day shifts, followed by 2 days off
+ Week 2: 3 night shifts, followed by 5 days off
+ Week 3: 2 day shifts + 2 night shifts, followed by 5 days off, then repeat
