Job description

We are working with a leading logistics organisation in the Ashford area, who are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support the movement and documentation of goods in and around the warehouse.

This is an on-site role working full time - 4 on 4 off 06:00am to 18:00pm.

Offering circa £32,000/annum, 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), healthcare cash plan, and free on-site parking.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for all warehouse files when counting and labelling products. Ensure all products have temperature taken on arrival and files updated.
  • Manage the goods inward process and ensure correct the area is used for breakdown. Ensure pallets are labelled correctly. Break down product and store at correct temperature. Ensure photos are taken and sent to sales and distribution of any damaged products.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any shipment-related issues, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance/regulatory challenges.
  • Load/Unload drivers in a timely manner and ensure correct paperwork is available.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff on shift are accounted for. Responsible for delegating tasks to warehouse staff daily.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times. To immediately report all incidents related to all safety issues to their Manager. Ensure Warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
  • Support the company\'s safety policy by observing policies and processes.
Essential Requirements
  • Forklift License.
  • Previous experience as warehouse lead/supervisor.
  • Experience with FMCG environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Security trained and screening is a bonus.
