Job description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team, as well as working with leadership to make sure our company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Engagement - Lead and motivate a team of operatives, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Days and Evenings Operations Management - Oversee end-to-end day and night operations including stock flow and warehouse coordination.
  • Planning & Resource Allocation - Develop shift plans and assign duties to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Performance Monitoring - Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Lead accident investigations and ensure all procedures are followed.
  • Operational Reporting - Maintain accurate shift reports and provide regular feedback to site leadership.
  • Cross-Shift Collaboration - Ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent performance across the 24-hour operation.
  • Employee Development - Conduct regular reviews and coach your team to support growth and development.
Qualifications
  • Someone who has previous experience within a similar warehouse management or supervisory position.
  • A person who has worked with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
  • Have your own transport to commute to work each day.
