Job summary

A local logistics company is looking for reliable individuals to become Order Pickers for their warehouse team in Bathgate. You will be responsible for accurately picking items, packaging orders, and assisting with inventory management. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Earnings are £14.68 per hour with start times around 5am to 6am.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Using headsets, barcodes, and serial numbers to locate items accurately.
• Safely picking items from shelves.
• Packaging completed orders.
• Building pallets.
• Moving pallets around the warehouse.
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary.

Shift Details

• 5am start times, with finish times circa 12pm - paid at £14.68 per hour
• 6am start times, with finish times circa 1pm/3pm - paid at £14.68 per hour

Responsibilities

• Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:
• Safely picking items from shelves
• Packaging completed orders
• Building pallets
• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• The ability to use picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
