WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENCE (ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT)

Pay Rate: £25, 670 (23, 890 basic + £1780 shift allowance) – Also potential to earn annual bonus of £1300

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Rotational day shift pattern 0600 hours-1400 hours / 1000 hours-1800 hours

Location: Warrington - WA4 4SN

DHL, an award‑winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

What does the role entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.

Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.

What do we need from you?
  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures
  • Full RTITB (or equivalent) Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck License is ESSENTIAL for this role.
  • Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Reach truck experience preferred but not essential
  • Manual Handling Equipment experience (MHE)
  • Basic computer skills
