Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for regular work? Can you work every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with alternate weekends? Pertemps is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Barnsley, S71 3LJ.

Pay Rates

• Day shift (07:00/08:00 start) to 16:00/17:00 finish: starting at £12.21, increasing to £12.43
• Weekends: starting at £12.62, increasing to £14.91

Job Responsibilities

• Picking food products using a Voice pick headset for a well-known High Street Retailer
• Working in a chilled and ambient environment
• Breaking down and allocating goods
• Achieving targets and job standards set by the shift manager
• Other duties may include heavy lifting

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse is advantageous but not essential; full training provided
• Good numeracy and literacy skills with attention to detail
• Positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and excellent attendance
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
