Warehouse Operative

Location: Wrexham

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 08 : 00 – 17 : 00

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Goods in Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Wrexham. You will play a key role in supporting the logistics function by efficiently handling and processing incoming stock. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with opportunities for long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming stock and check against delivery notes.
  • Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring all items are present and undamaged.
  • Accurately record and report any damages or discrepancies.
  • Organise and book items into the correct stock locations.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working area.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock audits when required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
  • Must hold a valid, in-house, or expired FLT (Forklift Truck) licence — FLT use is minimal in this role.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
