Job summary

A logistics firm in Cradley Heath is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the warehouse operations. You'll manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, lead the warehouse team, and ensure efficiency and safety in operations. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and strong leadership and problem-solving skills. This role offers a salary up to £35,000 per annum, a 40-hour work week, and a supportive working environment.

Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step into a management role? Do you enjoy leading a team, improving efficiency, and making sure everything runs like clockwork?

We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to join an established team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. You’ll be responsible for managing the warehouse operation to ensure an efficient, accurate, and safe flow of goods; from receipt through to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager :
  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet customer demand and operational targets
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your warehouse team to deliver consistent performance
  • Manage stock control, including regular cycle counts and full stock takes
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Oversee third-party storage where required
  • Ensure all orders are dispatched on time and in full
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
  • Manage the forklift fleet and ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive warehouse efficiency
