Overview

Are you looking for a new Warehouse Assistant's role? Are you available immediately and happy to do temporary work? If so, please do apply as I have several clients in the area that always require reliable, hardworking individuals to work with their Warehouse teams.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners) safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular inventory checks
  • Ensure all goods are stored correctly and the warehouse is kept clean and organised
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Support other departments when required to meet business needs
  • Ensure proper labelling and packaging of goods for shipment
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically
  • Possess a valid forklift operator's license or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software applications
  • Basic IT skills (e.g. using handheld scanners or stock systems) are a plus
