Job summary

A leading health care provider in Hove is seeking a committed Ward Manager for a permanent full-time role. You will manage the operational delivery and quality of care to young people, provide leadership to the nursing team, and ensure adherence to best practices. Qualifications

  • Experience from the NHS or private sector as a clinical and operational expert.
  • Ability to oversee care delivery in line with best practices.
  • Experience in managing performance measures related to People, Quality, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational delivery and quality of care to young people.
  • Provide leadership to the nursing team alongside the multidisciplinary team.
  • Plan staffing levels and undertake clinical ward-based audits.

Skills

CAMHS Eating Disorder experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Understanding of regulatory frameworks
Experience in supervising practice
Knowledge of CQUIN and NICE guidance
Experience in managing HR issues
Understanding of budgets
Physically able to undertake training requirements
