Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated indivdiual to join our CAMHS Inpatient Admin Team. We are looking for someone who has experience of working within an office environment, has good computer skills, committed to working as part of a team and has a flexible approach to the role. (Training will be given)

Main duties of the job

The role of the Ward Administrator within CAMHS Inpatients is to work closely with the Ward Manager & Nursing Team in the day to day running of the ward. Linking in with the other CAMHS Inpatient Ward Administrator & supporting the Business Support Officer with any requests.

Job responsibilities
  • Sending the Welcome Pack to new admissions (Parents/Carers & young people)
  • Informing the young persons GP of their admission
  • Invite, attend & minute the Weekly Clinical Review Meetings, ensuring that the information is shared within the team & templates are fully completed & sent to parents/carers
  • Ensuring the weekly recording keeping audit on AMaT is 100% compliant
  • Updating sickness recording spreadsheet
  • Updating the incident reporting record
  • E-Roster system adding/changing shifts where required
  • Access to record requests, ensuring documentation is taken off patient records
  • Attend & minute the monthly team meetings
  • Distribution of the weekly returns
  • Liaising with the Case Managers & other professionals in and outside of the Trust
  • Manager access, adding team supervision & appraisals to ESR
  • Collecting data for QNIC Rose
  • Purchasing on the Trust Agresso & NHS Supply Chain ordering system
  • Archiving of old documents
  • Supporting on the CAMHS Inpatient Star Days
Person Specification
Essential
  • Educated with GCSE English
  • Educated with GCSE Maths
  • IT Literate using Microsoft Teams, Word & Excel
  • A good understanding of safeguarding
Desirable
  • Experience of working within an office environment
  • Experience of using the Trust purchasing systems (Agresso & NHS Supply chain)
