Job summary

A leading water services company in the United Kingdom is seeking a WAND Compliance Engineer to ensure compliance and governance for their WAND system. The role involves auditing protocols, developing plans, and delivering training while providing vital support to colleagues in water planning. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the WAND system and excellent communication skills. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

  • Experience as WAND Compliance Engineer is essential.
  • Strong IT skills are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake impartial audit of WAND compliance.
  • Develop audit plans for field, leakage and approvers.
  • Assist and support the water planning and engineering team.

Skills

Knowledge and understanding/experience of the WAND risk assessment system
Ability to create a WAND document of exemplary quality
Knowledge and understanding of the WAND protocol
Knowledge and understanding/experience in water networks configuration
Understanding of commitments to the regulator regarding water quality
Experienced in Yorkshire Water’s corporate systems
Competent use of Microsoft Office
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points
Experience in Clean Water distribution
