About the role

You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc) - the work is not suited to non-drivers. As a Waking Nights Care Worker, you will provide night care to service users living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with personal care and hygiene, turning & medication. This can often be supporting people with planned and responsive care after leaving hospital. You will be working with a colleague at all times - 2 Care Workers using a Company vehicle which is fully insured and funded by the Company. Shifts 22:00 - 06:30 Monday to Friday & alternate weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Provide night care to service users in their own homes while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to needs.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, turning and medication as required.
  • Support people with planned and responsive care after hospital discharge.
  • Work with a colleague at all times in a company vehicle that is fully insured and funded by the Company.
Benefits / Rewards
  • BLOCK PAY for minimum 8.5 hours per shift (£13.60 per hour, Bank holidays £14.60 per hour)
  • Shifts: 22:00 to 06:30 - full-time and part-time available
  • No experience needed - FULL TRAINING GIVEN, Full or Part time hours available - 8.5 hours per shift
  • Excellent career progression - Full training, working towards Care Certificate, Dementia, End of life and other training courses.
