Looking for a role where you can make a real difference during the hours others are sleeping? We’re looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated residential team, supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Whether you have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Care Worker, or come from a similar support background, this is your opportunity to play a vital role — keeping young people safe, supported, and settled through the night.

About the Waking Night Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, your role is essential to ensuring the children in our care are kept safe, calm, and cared for throughout the night.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment overnight.
  • Supporting young people who may wake or struggle to settle.
  • Managing any incidents or behavioural challenges with a calm, consistent approach.
  • Completing night-time domestic tasks and admin as required.
  • Monitoring the home and supporting morning handovers.
  • Promoting safeguarding and emotional well-being throughout your shift.
