Qualifications

We are looking for a VP of FinOps to lead the swiftly growing FinOps department. The VP will create the FinOps strategy as part of the company’s overall strategy and lead its execution. We provide cutting‑edge FinOps solutions and services to startups. The role includes enhancing FinOps solutions and services, strengthening FinOps as a trusted advisor to customers, and fostering stronger cooperation with them and other departments such as Delivery, Sales, and AWS.

Work location - hybrid from London.

Responsibilities
  • Devise and implement FinOps yearly work plans
  • Establish a FinOps site in US timezone
  • Lead mentor and grow a team of FinOps team leaders and a group of FinOps analysts
  • Constant improvement of work processes
  • Lead the group to work closely with Automat‑it customers to help them understand, monitor, and analyze their cloud consumption data
  • Lead the group to suggest cost optimization opportunities in customers’ environments, implement or supervise the implementation of the recommendations
  • Enhance the FinOps Professional Services
  • Make a significant impact on internal FinOps tool and external customer portal development

Requirements
  • 4 years of managerial experience in global tech companies, at least 1 year of managing team leaders or above
  • 4 years of working experience as a FinOps Analyst specializing in public cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Deep knowledge of cost optimization techniques in public cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • A solid understanding of cloud services (AWS preferred), architectures, pricing, and discounts
  • An excellent analytical approach, business orientation, and customer‑obsessed mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Working experience with cost management tools such as CloudHealth or Anodot – an advantage
