Role Description:
The Credit Risk Officer (CRO) role is a senior analytical and strategic resource within the Special Assets Group (SAG), supporting SAG Senior Portfolio Officers (POs) in managing a criticized/classified commercial loan portfolio. This includes structuring and underwriting credit facilities, providing financial and collateral analysis, drafting credit approvals, asset quality forecasting, monitoring covenant compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
This role is suited for an experienced credit professional with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex credit situations. Over time, the CRO may assume responsibility for a portfolio of less complex relationships within the SAG EMEA/APAC team.
