Job description
Overview

It’s often overwhelming for the people we support to make changes in their lives, to enter treatment, develop recovery capital and grow into their lives.

As an Activity and Events volunteer, you will play a key role in proving a safe space for our service users to get together, connect and have fun.

This a new and exciting opportunity for someone to develop and grow our social activity programme. You will support the service user involvement team in organising, promoting, and facilitating fun recovery focused activities both within the service and in the community/externally.

You will support the Service User Lead with researching the needs of our service, looking at what new activities we could develop which would strengthen and enhance the opportunities on offer to those that access our services.

You will be working alongside the team, service user reps and other volunteers, liaising with our partners, building, and strengthening links with the wider community, and developing service user led activities to St Helens clients.

This is a rewarding and exciting role for someone who wants to make a difference in their community, and who has a flare for engaging and working creatively with people and developing activities to support the wellbeing of all.
