Company Description

Democracy Volunteers is dedicated to improving the quality of democratic elections by providing advice to election administrators and observing UK elections. We follow international standards for election observation set out by OSCE / ODIHR to ensure a strong methodology. Our approach is constructive and encouraging to benefit the delivery of democracy and the electorate as a whole.

Role Description

This is a volunteer Election Observer role at Democracy Volunteers. The role involves attending UK elections across Scottish Parliamentary Elections, Welsh Senedd Elections and English Local Elections, to be held on 7th May 2026. You will probably be allocated to an area near you, but some travel may be required. Working in teams of two our volunteer observers report empirical statistics to enhance the quality of democratic elections. As an Election Observer, you will contribute to promoting the benefits of democracy and aiding election integrity.
