JOB TITLE: Visual Lead

Role Objective:

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales & maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. The Visual Lead will work closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate work, and provide feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting store operations.

Visual Leader
  • Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  • Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
  • Plan visual floor changes with the management team, considering payroll management and adapting the zone and visual support to business needs.
  • Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through execution, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
  • Use reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, making changes as necessary.
Business Leader
  • Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure they are maintained and maximized.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business strategies.
  • Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
People Leader
  • Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Partner with management to provide coaching, guidance, and direction to Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
  • Use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide feedback to drive growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
Business Partner
  • Collaborate with Operations Lead for cross-training, and with Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well-executed.
  • Implement company operations directives and projects in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
  • Open and close the store following visual standards.

Schedule:

The role is full-time (32-40 hours/week). Availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts is required, especially during Black Friday and the holiday season.
