We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer Manager to join our Payments Investigations team. This role is located in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead the team by coordinating the work of less experienced Cash Processing and Funds Transfer staff.
  • Process client payments and accruals.
  • Develop, review, and maintain departmental procedures while ensuring adherence to established policies and workflow.
  • Understand and effectively use systems and technology required for cash movement, reconciliation, and trust accounting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality and streamline processing and transfers within the unit.
  • Coordinate testing to ensure that changes are implemented.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent, considering wider implications.
  • Guide support staff in day-to-day activities, providing direction, coordinating tasks, and reviewing work quality and progress.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and completion of own work and work of team members.
  • Use systemic data to highlight, prioritize, and implement initiatives to reduce manual touchpoints and find efficiencies in our processes.
  • Lead initiatives within the team to improve our Service Delivery group by developing processes and enhancing client service.
  • Manage client escalations and issues to set expectations and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with management to coordinate, upskill, and determine resourcing requirements to ensure the group operates efficiently.
  • Prioritize daily workload alongside project work to manage client expectations and improve responses and automation.
  • Utilize and demonstrate skills to use available digital tools and AI to enhance the user experience for our processes.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
