Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000.

The day‑to‑day duties include consultations, surgery (routine and more complex including enterotomies, cystotomies, caesarean etc.) with dedicated admin time. We work to high general practice standards and have an interesting, varied caseload.

Work‑Life Balance

Our full‑time position is typically over 4 days with a mix of earlies and lates (1–2 per week) and 1 in 4 weekends (one full Saturday only). We have no out‑of‑hours. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. We would welcome both full or part‑time applicants and are happy to be flexible and work together to find a rota that would work for you.

Location

We are based in a lovely part of the world on the SW London/Surrey borders close to Wimbledon and Kingston‑upon‑Thames. Our location gives easy, fast access to London (25 minutes by train) and access out of London by car on the A3 if you want to head to the coast.

Facilities & Equipment

We strive for high standards of general practice and are lucky to have a wide range of equipment and services to offer. We have four consulting rooms, a dedicated prep room and theatre, a separate dental area as well as an x‑ray, digital/dental ultrasound room, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, bronchoscopy, and a full surgical kit. We hold Gold Standard ‘Cat Friendly Clinic’ status and have separate cat and dog waiting rooms and kennels which allows for minimal stress for all of our patients. Depending on your special interests, we are always keen to invest in more equipment.

Our Team

We are a friendly team of varying experience including 4 Vets, 2 Clinical Directors, 1 Practice Manager, 5 RVNS, 2 Students, 1 VCA and 7 Receptionists. Our clinical team have a huge variety of interests from surgery to emergencies, cardiology to ophthal­mology and although we do not have any certificate holders, we encourage all our team to implement gold standard learnings into clinical practice.

We are proactive about encouraging CPD and sharing the knowledge with the team including clinical clubs which are lovely sociable Vet evenings where we share the most recent attended training. We aim to give every team member a great quality of life and learning/working experience feeling supported with an open, caring structure. Our culture is one of support and encouragement on every level to maintain our gold standard of care.
