A leading veterinary practice in Aylesbury is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon committed to excellence in animal care. The role offers a competitive salary up to £75,000, a 4-day work week, and no on-call duties. The practice boasts modern facilities and values both team support and your professional development. Enjoy generous holidays, CPD opportunities, and independence in clinical decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or those with experience, eager to pursue their career in a nurturing environment.
My client is a proudly independent small animal practice based in the popular county town of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Founded with a commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of pet care, the practice combines many years of veterinary experience with a genuine passion for animal health. Their mission is to create an environment that champions clinical excellence while providing first‑rate patient care.
The practice has invested heavily in state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including digital X‑ray, a dedicated dental suite, in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, and a fully equipped operating theatre. This allows the team to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, ensuring pets receive exceptional care. Separate cat and dog wards help minimise stress for patients, and dental X‑ray capabilities will soon enhance their service even further. Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery are in house.
My client is now seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon—suited to either a new graduate or someone with 3+ years of experience—to join their close‑knit team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, and 1 Head RVN. As an independent, family‑run practice, they understand that every pet is a cherished member of the family and pride themselves on offering a warm, supportive environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly independent practice in the heart of Buckinghamshire, where your development, wellbeing, and clinical freedom genuinely matter.
