A veterinary practice in Exeter is seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their team. The role includes greeting clients and pets, managing diaries, and ensuring high customer service standards. Responsibilities also involve administrative tasks such as maintaining client records and processing payments. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a caring approach. The position offers five weeks of holiday plus additional benefits.
Receptionist
City Vets, working across all four sites
Part-time, 35.1 hours per week
City Vets are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate receptionist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. In this role you will have the opportunity to enhance your customer service skills. The role requires a caring, confident and mature approach to all aspects of veterinary practice and client care.
This role is vital to maintaining the high standards expected throughout our exceptional team. You will work closely with the Client Care Manager to deliver an outstanding experience for clients and visitors. An essential aspect of this role is to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
This is a roaming role, where you will be working across all sites to cover annual leave and absences, a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our entire team and enjoy variety every week!
This is a permanent part-time role working 35.1 hours per week, on average. 1 in 7 Saturdays and 1 in 15 Sundays.
The role is varied and will include (but is not limited to) the following:
City Vets are a multi-site, RCVS-accredited, primary care practice based in Exeter. We are committed to providing a gold-standard, professional, and caring service to our patients and their owners. We have state-of-the-art facilities including an onsite CT scanner. Additionally, our Heavitree practice is the only practice in the south-west to have a Gold Standard Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund certificate.
