Join Our Team as a Vessel Supervisor in Liverpool!

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Vessel Supervisor to oversee vessel discharge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership skills and a strong background in port operations. As a Vessel Supervisor, you' ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient movement of goods and cargo while managing a team of operatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day operations within the port, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Manage a team of port operatives and ensure they follow all safety and operational guidelines.
  • Monitor and coordinate the movement of ships, cargo, and equipment to ensure timely operations.
  • Ensure that cargo is loaded, unloaded, and stored according to safety and quality standards..
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with scheduling and planning of shifts to ensure full coverage during busy periods.
  • Provide leadership and training to the team to promote continuous improvement and skill development.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, safety incidents, and any issues that arise.
