A leading logistics company based in Chadwell St Mary is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team. You will perform maintenance and repair on a diverse fleet while working with modern equipment. The role offers a permanent contract, competitive salary of £44,345 with a potential of up to £70k including overtime, and comprehensive benefits including annual leave and training opportunities. A full manual driving licence and IMI Level 3 qualification are required.

Perform a full range of inspections, diagnoses, maintenance and repair procedures on our vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment. Work on a range of vehicles, supplying your own personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy vehicles. Provide assistance using specialist tooling and equipment provided for common use by everyone within the workshop.
Success requires: fully qualified at least IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair (or equivalent). Proven experience with a wide range of vehicles such as LCV/LGv. Full manual driving licence; LGV preferred with trailer experience.
Permanent contract at Thurrock Workshop. Salary: £44,345 per annum with potential to earn up to £70k including overtime. Weekend supplement for Saturday (£52.10 per attendance). Full‑time 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00‑14:30, week 2: 10:30‑19:00). Required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays with a weekday day off.
22.5 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays) on entry, with option to purchase more, rising with service.
