Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to carry out servicing and repairs to high standards. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification, diagnostic experience, and a valid UK driving licence. Qualifications

  • Must be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Diagnostic experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience of working as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
  • MOT Licence would be advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Technician Role
  • To carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer\'s guidelines
  • To diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner
  • To ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Must be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles
  • Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work
Vehicle Technician - Requirements
  • To be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally have diagnostic experience
  • Previous experience of working as a Vehicle Technician is essential
  • MOT Licence would be advantageous
  • Ideally, previous experience of working in a main dealer
  • To have a valid UK driving licence
