Position

IMI Level 2 qualified mechanic – Permanent contract, potential to earn up to £40 k including overtime.

Working Hours

Full time – 39.5 hours per week rotating shift pattern: weeks 1 & 2: 06:00‑14:30, week 3: 08:00‑16:30, week 4: 13:30‑22:00. You will be required to work one in three Saturdays with a weekday day off.

About the role
  • Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
  • Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles.
  • Have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
About you
  • Qualified mechanic: fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 2 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent); own toolkit for standard repairs.
  • Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, e.g. LCV / HGV.
  • Valid UK driving licence: full manual UK driving licence.
  • High working standards: take pride in your work and ensure the job is done effectively.
  • Flexible to service demands: willing to work on a flexible shift rota and support your team where necessary.
