Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a main dealer in Salford. The role offers a basic salary of £30-35k with OTE of £35k-£40k. Responsibilities include servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring high levels of customer service. A valid UK Driving Licence and experience in a similar role are required. This is a full-time, permanent position with standard working hours and some Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Overview

Vehicle Technician – £30-35k basic with £35k-£40k OTE – Manchester – Permanent/Full Time. Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 3 Saturdays (half day).

Our client, a prestige Motor Trade main dealer group in the Manchester area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience - this could be your next role!

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
  • Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
  • Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
  • Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.
