Job summary

A vehicle services company is seeking a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester in Worcester. The successful candidate will perform various service operations, ensure compliance with legal standards, and must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. This full-time position offers 23 days annual leave plus bonuses with no weekend work required.

• Previous Vehicle Technician experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Must hold a full manual UK driving license.
• Right to work in the UK - no sponsorships available.

Overview

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester

Location: Worcester

Hours: Working 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday NO WEEKENDS

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of service operations
• Testing tyres, wheel alignment, exhausts, batters, welding, cutting
• Basic and advanced knowledge of suspension and brakes
• Ensure that all deadlines are met making sure all vehicles are tested in accordance with legal standards.
• Good technical skills
• Defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs with the highest level of quality and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety and manufacturer standards
• Accurately document service work

Skills and Qualifications

• MUST HOLD an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification in motor vehicle engineering
• Preferably a MOT License Class 4 - Class 7 Not Essential but Preferred
• Previous Vehicle Technician experience within the automotive industry
• Hold your own tools and toolbox
• MUST HOLD Full manual UK Driving License
• Right to work in the UK - no sponsorships available
