Vehicle Technician

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm! No Weekends! Basic up to £38,000, OTE £48,000! Main Dealer Development and Training. Penge Area.

A main dealer client in the Penge area is offering a brilliant chance for a Level 3 Technician to join a well-established, high-performing team. This role genuinely values work‑life balance with weekday‑only hours, solid earnings up to the high £40s OTE, and full manufacturer training to keep skills sharp. The workshop is known for its supportive culture, steady workload and strong career development – an ideal move for someone who wants stability, progression and a team that actually works well together.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards
  • Conduct full vehicle examinations and identify additional faults or required work
  • Complete Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
  • Keep the service team updated on job progress
  • Discuss technical work with customers when required
  • Obtain authorisation for additional work where necessary
  • Maintain technical competence through ongoing training
  • Support apprentices when requested
  • Follow workshop processes and contribute to overall efficiency
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain high standards
  • Keen, enthusiastic and customer‑focused
  • Manufacturer experience, diagnostic skills or MOT status desirable but not essential
Salary and Benefits
  • Basic Salary: £30,000‑£38,000 DOE
  • OTE: £40,000‑£48,000
  • Hours: Mon‑Fri, 8:00am‑5:30pm
  • Weekends: None
