Role: VSI Technician

Location: Port Talbot

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:30pm | Alternating Saturdays, 8am – 1pm

Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour + Overtime (£38,285)

This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a keen eye for safety and compliance, looking to work in a structured, professional workshop environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Carrying out thorough Vehicle Safety Inspections (VSI) to the highest standard
  • Performing repairs, diagnostic checks and general vehicle maintenance
  • Recording all work accurately, including wheel torques, QC sign-off and compliance paperwork
  • Ensuring every vehicle meets legal and roadworthy requirements
  • Supporting in the preparation of vehicles for road testing using trade plates
  • Liaising with internal parts teams to authorise and complete repair jobs
  • Keeping work bays clean, organised and safe at all times
  • Upholding traffic flow and workshop safety protocols
