Job description

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit Cat B (Van) Drivers to support our client based in Newcastle during their peak season (October to January).

This is a multi-drop delivery role involving commercial and medical properties across the region.

The Role:

• Multi-drop delivery of goods to a mix of commercial and medical sites
• Adhering to a fixed route plan and delivery schedule
• Early starts and full days - shift begins at 0600
• Monday to Saturday working pattern
• Completion of all relevant paperwork and ensuring customer satisfaction
• You must pass a driving assessment and on-site induction before starting

The Candidate:

• Full UK Cat B driving licence
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent timekeeping, customer service, and driving skills
• Able to commit to work throughout the peak season (October to January)

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Saturday pattern
• 0600 start times
• Overtime available and paid after 8 hours per shift

Pay Rates:

• £13.00 per hour (PAYE) for the first 12 weeks
• £14.12 per hour after 12 weeks of continuous work
• £19.50 per hour overtime (after 8 hours Monday to Friday and all hours on weekends)
